They have transformed my tired, sloping “grass and slabs” back garden into a colourful and usable space, with sandstone patio areas and pathways, a raised flower bed and a central grass area.

After having difficulty even getting other companies to provide quotations, Kevin and Hannah were quick to respond, listened to what I wanted, discussed practicalities and cost, and provided a quote that was in my budget.

They started sooner than anticipated and the project was completed within two weeks. Dean led his team well and they worked tirelessly to get it finished. He took time to explain the process in full and always checked that the details were to my satisfaction. They put down boards and sheets to protect the driveway at the front of the property and cleared up at the end of each day.

Only one minor problem arose: their suppliers had run out of the  stone chips I had selected; nevertheless, Dean collected alternative samples for me to view.

They only required a 20% deposit after the work had started, with the remainder to be paid on completion of the work. Kevin subsequently came out to check that everything was completed to his, and my, satisfaction.

Hannah was a delight to deal with: emails and phone calls were dealt with immediately. She was always very pleasant and helpful.

Overall, the whole process was straightforward and stress-free. I now feel I have the full use of my garden space and it has added colour and access that wasn’t there before. My thanks to the whole team at Turf at the Top!
